ABOUT ME

Dear reader,

I see that you got interested in reading about myself. If you have been surfing on my web pages you probably got a lot, probably the best part of me which can not be described in words. What will follow will be more a selfish description...

I'm an electronic engineer with medical equipments specialization...but as most of the people I'm doing something else!
I have been mostly working on RF since the last year of university (Università di Roma "La Sapienza") where I have been working within the electromagnetic compatibility lab. After the degree I left Italy to live in US (Colorado) where I have been working for NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technologies)  within the research team of electromagnetic compatibility lab.
After six moths I moved back to Italy for Christmas time, but in the mean time I found a new job with Agilent Technologies, Germany.
I have been working with them for 2 years as New Product Introduction Engineer, supporting the RF test equipment called SOC 93000.
After the introduction of Port Scale RF, I felt that my job was over and it was time to change experience. For that reason I joined National Semiconductor in 2008 in a much more dynamic job (as required if you are an Application Engineer).
...as usual I was not able to get rid of RF...but working with high speed ADC and amplifiers is quite interesting...

...in my second life they call me Morpheus...just joking!
As hobby I do make robots and embedded systems, but I pushed my hobby to professional levels.
Sometimes I do feel that I'm more a programmer than an electronic engineer, but I realize that the good feeling is neither coming from being a programmer nor an electronic engineer but for being both!
I read all the books a good programmer should have on the shelf...and I'm an expert in analog circuits.
...but since I do not like any boundary I do program microcontrollers, DSP and FPGA.
...robotics is just the summary...that can not be done without knowing medicine...which I study as well (stealing the books from my girlfriend).

...but electronics is nothing without love.
